Jessica Truman

     Jessica has been working with children and families here in Maine since graduating from college in 1996. She grew up in the Oxford Hills and is proud to Co-own a business with Karri White that supports adults and children with developmental disabilities in her own community. Jessica and her husband have 3 sons. She enjoys spending her free time reading, attending sporting events, being with family and friends and going to their family camp.

    Karri grew up in Connecticut but came to Maine for college and fell in love with the state’s people, environment, and laid-back way of life.  Karri started Bridge to Success with Jessica Truman in 2010 to provide quality Case Management services to families in the Oxford Hills and surrounding areas.  Since then, BTS has grown to 15 employees and now provides both Case Management to children, adults and families in over 7 counties! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children, family and friends enjoying the Maine outdoors. She loves traveling, sports, and attending concerts.

     Jaime has been with Bridge to Success since May 2012 as the Office/HR Manager. Jaime and her husband have 2 sons. When she’s not in the office you can find her gardening, stock car racing, camping or snowmobiling.

Dorcey joined Bridge to Success in January of 2023. She has a background in administrative work, banking and real estate. She lives in Harrison with her 4 daughters and husband. When she is not working you can usually find her on the sidelines of one of her kid’s games. In her free time loves to be at the ocean. 

Adult Case Managers

Demetris Webster

Demetris grew up in Florida and is 25 years old. He left Florida to go to Maine for college and pursuing his basketball career. Fun fact: Demetris became the 29th person in school history to score 1000 points! Graduated from Thomas College with two BA’s. Demetris loves the environment, the different season changes, and the laid-back way of life in Maine. Before working with BTS, Demetris was a career advisor in the community, helping people fulfill their working career. He is a very outgoing person people person. He is very passionate about helping others in the community the best he can. In his free time, he likes to play basketball, read books, go on hikes and being outside in nature.

Wynter Morin

Wynter grew up in Bethel, Maine and graduated from Dean College with a BA in psychology. She has been a part of the BTS crew since 2022 and before that worked as a mentor and community advisor, acting as a support and resource to numerous individuals. She is eager to aid and build strong relationships with current and new clients. A passionate individual who strives to be a lifelong learner. In her downtime she can be found: with her pets, reading, participating in athletics, and creating art.”

 

Devin Flynn

     Devin Flynn grew up in Auburn, Maine and completed his BA in Psychology at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Prior to joining the BTS team, Devin spent 5 years working for a residential organization providing direct care and teaching employees as a professional trainer. He also works as a freestyle ski coach for the Gould Academy Competition Program at Sunday River during the winter. Devin has a deep appreciation for athletics and is a huge New England sports fan. His free time is spent with his two wonderful children, Hayden and Piper, who constantly keep him guessing. Outside of work and family Devin enjoys staying active as much as possible and socializing with friends.

 

Christina Irvine

     Christina Irvine graduated from Gordon College in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in social work.  She has many years’ experience working with children with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism in the school systems and personal residents.  She has 15 years of experience as an Adult Case Manager and is very passionate about her work.  Outside of work Christina enjoys spending time with her amazing young son and family. She also enjoys sports, reading and music.  Christina also is committed to advocating for areas she is passionate about such as youth in foster care and politics. Being an active member of the State of Maine Parent Ambassador Program is a recent accomplishment that she is proud of. 

Heather Weiss

     Heather Weiss became part of the Bridge to Success Adult community case management team in December 2017. She has been in the field of children/adult services for over 20 years. She has held a variety of positions ranging from BHP, DSP, group house administrator, Children Service Case Manager and Adult Services Case Manager. Heather graduated from Capella University with a master’s degree in counseling psychology in 2012 and from University of Southern Maine in 2004 with a Bachelors in social and behavioral sciences. Heather loves to explore nature and spending time with her family. She enjoys assisting her clients to achieve their individual goals.

 

Kristy Durgin

    Kristy Durgin became a part of the Bridge to Success Adult Case Management team in July 2019. She is a mother of two teenage boys. Kristy is a college graduate of The University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in Rehabilitation Services. She has been serving individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders since December of 2001. Outside of work she enjoys reading, country music concerts, and camping with her family.

Will LaRose

Wilton LaRose was born and raised in a small town in Vermont called Northfield. Before joining the Bridge-to-Success team, he worked as a Special Ed Teacher. Wilton started at the middle school level and then eventually became part of a Day Treatment Center where he oversaw the high school program.  Within his teaching career he worked with a range of children and young individuals with adverse set of disabilities. He says it helped him obtain a lot of knowledge and a lot of compassion for this field. Wilton carried that passion into Case Management.  In his free time, Wilton enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and their amazing eight-year-old boy, Dominic.  When he is not with his family he enjoys hunting, fishing, and all sports.      

Vicki Curtis

Vicki has been doing adult case manager for 7-8 years; she was also a children’s case manager for over 10 years. She has years of experience in working with children who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, a diagnosis of Down Syndrome, Landau–Kleffner syndrome and multiple other diagnosis. She has worked as a child protective worker, a BHP, a and a DSP.  She has worked in the Family reunification program, in the Section 65 program, worked as a coordination care for Center based Section 28 and 65, and worked as a specialized BHP. She has been a therapeutic foster parent for over 17 years. She has a medical background and have worked in the medical field for over 10 years.  She specializes in Autism and funding research for children and families to obtain the items they need to reach their goals. Vicki is a single mom of three wonderful girls and two foster children.  She has dedicated her life to making sure that we assist in educating people that there is hope and love in the community.    

Children’s Case Managers

Kendra Campbell

     Kendra started with Bridge to Success in January 2015; however, she has been working in this field for over 25 years.  She has been a Targeted Case Manager since July 2006.  She also has been working with the Autism Society of Maine part time since June 2006 and provides respite services through NAMI Maine. Kendra has also worked in an early intervention program, BHP supervisor, and is a BHP Train the Trainor.  Kendra currently runs a parent / caregiver support group in Bridgton called Topics on the Autism Spectrum: A Caregiver’s Support Group. Kendra also runs a young adult social group out of Bridgton through the Autism Society of Maine.  In her free time, she enjoys being outside, doing water aerobics, reading, snuggling with her Siamese cats, and has an extensive collection of Disney memorabilia. Over the past four years Kendra has been having a good time learning Spanish.

Nicole Hartzog

     Nicole Hartzog has proudly been a part of the BTS team since May, 2017 and serves as a Children’s Case Manager. Nicole previously completed a two part internship at Norway Center for Health and Rehabilitation. She graduated from University of Maine at Augusta in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health and Human Services. Nicole strives to make a difference and will be continuing her education in social services/mental health.

 

Stephen Pelletier

     Stephen Pelletier joined Bridge to Success as a Children’s Case Manager in 2016. He has been with BTS for 5 1/2 years; he has been a Case manager and an advocate for children for almost 20 years. Steve enjoys working with children and families in rural communities. He often says, “My job is not work! I thoroughly enjoy being a “voice” for the children we serve!” Life is 10% what happens to us, 90% how we react to it! Stay in the moment, Attitude is everything! 

 

Mary Verrill

     Mary started at Bridge to Success in December 2017 and now has 17 years of experience as a Children’s Case Manager.  Prior to working in the social services field, Mary worked for 21 years in the legal field as a legal secretary and paralegal.  Mary grew up and continues to live in the same neighborhood in New Gloucester.  Outside of work, Mary is a proud grandmother and enjoys relaxing with her family and living life based on her favorite motto of work hard, play hard, nap hard. 

Rita Hamel

Rita joined Bridge to Success as a Targeted Children’s Case manager in May of 2021.  She is a graduate of Central Maine Community College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice and a graduate of University of Southern Maine with a bachelor's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences.  She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Society, Criminal Justice Club, as well as the American Legion Post 153.  Rita is a new member of the Bridge to Success family and eager to get her feet on the ground running. Rita has experience collaborating with providers in various treatment programs and organizations. She brings years of experience working in the medical billing/ coding field and with consumers who have co-occurring disorders. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and kayaking. 

Alyssa Morin

Alyssa was born and raised in the Oxford Hills area. She graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education. Before joining the BTS team as a children’s case manager, she worked with kids through recreation departments, daycares, coaching and as a special education teacher. She is outgoing and enjoys helping others. In her free time, you can find her playing sports, hanging out with family and being outdoors.
